The construction of China Resources Dali Zaoyang Wind Power Vanadium Flow Battery Industrial Park has started, including the 2GWh Vanadium Electrolyte Project and Vanadium Battery Energy Storage Power Station Project

On December 15th, the China Resources Dali Zaoyang Wind Power Vanadium Flow Battery Industrial Park project officially began construction. Lv Yibin, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, announced the commencement of project construction, and Meng Yanqing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Zaoyang Municipal Party Committee, attended the commencement ceremony.

It is understood that the China Resources Dali Zaoyang Wind Power Vanadium Flow Battery Industrial Park consists of three parts: the China Resources Power Zaoyang 1 million kilowatt wind power project with a total investment of about 7 billion yuan, the Dali Electric's annual production of 2GWh vanadium electrolyte project with a total investment of about 900 million yuan, and the vanadium battery energy storage power station project with a total investment of about 3 billion yuan.

The industrial park project is planned to be implemented from 2022 to 2026. Of the total project investment of about 10.9 billion yuan, the fixed assets investment is about 9.5 billion yuan, the annual output value is up to 4.05 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue is about 680 million yuan. After the completion of the project, more than 700 new job opportunities can be created, providing about 220000 kWh of clean energy power generation annually, reducing 588000 tons of standard coal combustion, reducing a large amount of smoke, carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, and sulfur oxides emissions, and helping to achieve the national "dual carbon" strategic goal.
